16th Nov: 💥 Federal Reserve Bank of New York launches a 12-week (Wholesale) CBDC pilot program with major banking giants! BNY Mellon, Citi, U.S. Bank HSBC, Mastercard, PNC Banks Trust and Wells Fargo will be issuing tokens and settling transactions through simulated central bank reserves as part of the pilot. A12-week proof-of-concept pilot for a central bank digital currency.
