Professor Dame Alison Peacock is CEO of the Chartered College of Teaching. She is a public speaker and author, and a passionate proponent of giving teachers a voice. Her teaching career spans primary, secondary and advisory roles, and in 2018 she became one of the first women to receive an honorary fellowship from Queens' College, Cambridge.
As a professional body, the Chartered College “aims to celebrate, support and connect teachers to provide world-class teaching and raise the status of the teaching profession.”
