Ending cancer as we know it, for everyone: A conversation with Lisa Lacasse, president of ACS CAN
The American Cancer Society and its advocacy affiliate, the American Cancer Society Cancer Action Network, are committed to ending cancer as we know it, for everyone. ORAU has supported the work of both organizations by sponsoring Relay For Life and Lights of Hope events for may years. Further Together host Michael Holtz is a member of ACS CAN's National Ambassador Team and a long-time volunteer for the organization. In this episode, he and co-host Matthew Underwood talk to Lisa Lacasse, president of ACS CAN, about the organization's role in making the fight against cancer a national priority, efforts to be more inclusive in its work, fundraising through Lights of Hope, the importance of community and corporate support and so much more.
