Ep 16 - Brianna Arps from Moodeaux® on the Power of Fragrance
This week we welcome the founder of indie fragrance label MOODEAUX® - Brianna Arps. Based on its belief that self expression is the best self care, MOODEAUX® turns accessorizing your mood into mindful self-care through longer-lasting, skin-nurturing eau de parfums backed by science. Ditching tradition, founder Brianna Arps set out in October 2021 to introduce a new standard: longer-lasting, skin-nurturing, earth-friendly blends that give subpar scents, questionable ingredients and wasteful packaging the side eye. We talk to Brianna about the science of aromacology and its link to aromatherapy. We explore the power of fragrances to create memory connections and evoke emotions. How can you scale this experience that is as powerful as personal? We pondered whether the beauty industry is under-estimating the role fragrance can play as part of the overall product experience.
