Ep. 703 - Why I expect today will be a horrible day for Democrats across the country
It's Election Day. And by the end of the night I expect it will likely be a bloodbath for Democrats from coast to coast. I truly hope I'm wrong, but we're on pace for Democrats to lose Congress, to lose important statewide races, and find themselves back in a familiar place where they control the White House but not much else.
Today I want to unpack and explain why we're here. It didn't have to be this way. But at the end of the day, 4 factors are playing a HUGE role.
#1: Conservative voters feel like Republican leaders have kept their promises.
#2: Democratic voters could hardly even tell you what Democrats ever promised them, but they know they haven't seen much.
And, on the 2 issues that drive people to the polls the most, voters say they trust Republicans more. That's:

#4: Issues of crime and public safety
