Today we’re upstairs at the Box Hill Golf Club looking out over the course, what a place to do a podcast! Ox is curious about how Box Hill got its name, and we find out live on the pod. Ox and Marko are unimpressed with the back story.
Marko has come in annoyed about something today. He has a fresh example of Civil Selfishness that he wants to discuss and he believes it requires an investigation, possibly from Seb Costello. It is a genuine shocker. The pic of the issue Marko has raised is on our socials. Ox has recommended camera surveillance needs to be activated.
Marko wants to know the stupidest thing that Ox ever placed a bet on, and Ox tells a ripping story about the Sydney to Hobart yacht race…did the bet end well? Ox explains all. Marko tells a story about his greatest ever bet, Ox has a similar story with a different ending unfortunately.
Ox and Marko bring up the movie Let It Ride and are horrified that Producer Dan hasn’t seen the movie. The boys want to hear your stories of punting good or bad luck. Let us know on the socials.
We have the results of our poll on eating in the supermarket. Fair to say some of us are surprised. The feedback was overwhelming.
Plenty of feedback on the show this week from you, lots of comments and we love them, keep them coming in.
Ox reveals that he has discovered leftover coffee beans are amazing for gardens. Garden chat. Rivetting. Ox also reveals a podcast he is listening to and loves. And unfortunately Ox may have defamed an entire occupation on the podcast today, we may have a legal issue to deal with.
We find out about a fantastic skill with street directories from Ox’s mate Dean. We decide to call him live on the pod and put him on the spot. Does he pass the test?
And as usual we wrap up on a joke, and today a fun one from The Ox, he rips out a classic Dad joke.
