Episode 195 with Juha Lehtola plus a visit to the all-new Hockey Shop
Episode 195 of the InGoal Radio Podcast, presented by The Hockey Shop Source for Sports, features Juha Lehtola, who this season became the third Finnish goalie coach hired by an NHL organization when the Washington Capitals brought him in to work with their AHL affiliate in Hershey. In the feature interview, presented by Sense Arena, features Lehtola sharing insights on his path from coaching in Finland's top League, the SM-Liiga, to the opportunity to work with Hershey, including the role Colorado Avalanche goalie coach Jussi Parkilla played in opening doors as the first Finn to be hired in the job in the NHL (and to win a Stanley Cup). Lehtola also talks about the philosophies he learned in Finland, how they compare to North America tactically and technically, and his work with Capitals goaltending coach Scott Murray, including a season together in the OHL one decade ago.All that, plus our first trip to the new location of The Hockey Shop Source for Sports (now in Langley) for a look inside the new store, as well as a preview of some Black Friday Sale highlights.
