Episode 50 - Yoonsun Choi: "I got the data."

Professor Yoonsun Choi challenges the social norms of being an educated female of her time and continues questioning people's assumptions of Asian Americans as model minorities through her research that follows hundreds of families over the course of many years. Her childhood in Korea,  journey to the US, and aspirations to make the world a better place as a social worker eventually brought her to the University of Chicago.
