I had the privilege of sitting down with Robert Stevens and Lily Karnes of Just Live, Inc., whose mission is "to provide suicide prevention education to our community, financial support to related supportive organizations, and emotional support to anyone affected by suicide, depression, and mental illness, so that others may Just Live more positively." In this episode, we talk about mental illness and the public health crisis that is suicide. We also discuss statistics related to suicide, the stigma around talking about it, and ways that we can breakthrough the barriers of the uncomfortable topic.
