Freedom in Structure: Discipline & Feelings Coexist
Many times, people are resistant to structure or discipline because they feel it interferes with their perception of or feeling of freedom. Others are too disciplined and don’t slow down or listen enough to their own inner messages. Neither extreme is holistic or helpful, without the flexibility to engage with the other if and when called for.If we all relied on our ever-changing feelings and moods alone to dictate our behavior or actions, nothing would ever get done and we’d probably not accomplish much in a day or in our life. Yet, there is a truth that if we don’t slow down to listen to subtle or louder messages from our bodies, our sensations/feelings, and intuition, we’d miss important messages, inspirational meetings or interactions, not be open to clues and cues, and maybe even end up injured or sick so we are forced to slow down.I help show you how to integrate both discipline and intuition into your life and show you that there is freedom in structure.
