One evening, after nearly a year of watching her daughter, Mae, suffer from an abusive and manipulative relationship, Vickie Davis hears the words that no mother wants to ever imagine: "your daughter has been shot". Vickie shares her journey in this episode, and discusses the depths of her grieving process in losing her daughter to domestic violence, and suffering intense spiritual turmoil. Since the death of Mae, Vickie has vowed to be her voice, and to share her story. Vickie has spent years working to save others from domestic violence, and is continuing to spread a message of caution, joy, and reliance on God.
