HoM: Star Trek - "The Broken Circle" & more
Series 4, Episode 8 - "Darn you, Strange New Worlds, even your misses are hits!" We're back! We promised we would be. Did you miss us? We've got smooth sailing (through ice crystals in space) for the next four weeks as we conclude our Klingon-themed series of episode reviews. This week we turn our attention to the Klingons first appearance on the newest Trek show as we review Strange New Worlds' Season 2 premiere "The Broken Circle". Well actually, forgive the dishonour but we lied a little up top. One of the podcast's dynamic duo isn't back as D.K unfortunately fell ill just before recording this episode (rumours that it was the Klingon augment virus have been greatly exagerrated). Subbing in to the "Number One" position as co-host is regular guest & Strange New Worlds superfan Sandy Eavenson. Mike & Sandy are joined by Star Trek Jeopardy champion & first-time guest to the podcast proper Jeremy Duncan. Jeremy puts us all to shame with his singing ability, his surprisingly extensive knowledge & love of Star Trek and his fascinating and erudite views on it. We also have the return of the "legendary" Hit or Miss section, some thoughts from our audience and the deep dive review taking in everything from Spock's lute to mislabelled starships and so much more. So press play if "you would like the podcast to go... now" & enjoy. Go on, "vamoose!" Outro by Timeless Journey. Visit soundcloud.com/timelessjourney.
