This past week, I came across a post on Facebook advertising a horn for sale. Apparently the person selling it was getting lowballed (doesn't that suck?) with offers and his frustration was evident in his ad.Had this person listened to last week's episode talking about the 6 psychological triggers that make a seller attractive to prospective buyers, he might have had different results. At the very least, he might not have felt disrespected by these offers because he would have commanded respect by showing he knows how to sell a trumpet! Also included in today's offering is an interview I conducted with the great Peter Pickett in his mouthpiece factory in Lexington, KY in 2019. I've already published this one, but that was almost 4 years ago, thus lost in the Internet Memory Hole. It's high time the interview gets some attention once again. The Pickett interview begins around the 26:00 mark in case you want to skip ahead.Thank you for joining us on "Trumpet Dynamics" – telling the story of the trumpet, in the words of those who play it.
