I Almost Died - Death, Ghosts, and Supernatural Elements in Stories | County Road 189 S1E5
July was a much wilder month than I anticipated it would be. I was bitten by a brown recluse spider sometime around the 4th and wound up in the hospital the following week. I've been on the mend after knocking on death's door and I'm ready to get stuff done!

In this episode of the podcast, I talk about that experience and how it's impacted my overall view on life as well as how the whole thing fits into the idea of death, ghosts and supernatural elements in stories. We start with a story called "What Possessed Him?" where a team of ghost hunters finds a real ghost, with deadly results. Next, we move on to hear the story of "The Guardians" where another would be ghost hunter comes face to face with a priest who might not be what he appears. The final story is called "The Florence Bridge" and it finds the outcome of a love triangle intertwined with a curse that goes back to the founding of a small town.

Join me as we chat about some behind the scenes facts with these stories and celebrate living on County Road 189!Buy my debut novel The Journal here: https://books2read.com/joshhawk

If you are interested in helping me to accomplish some goals with new and even better content while earning some pretty cool perks, check out my Patreon: https://www.patreon.com/joshbearheart

Get some Bearheart Nation MERCH: https://www.josh-bearheart.com/

Referral link to Epidemic Sound:
https://www.epidemicsound.com/referral/1xunm9
You get a free month and I get a small amount for sending you over

Socials -
Twitter: twitter.com/joshbearheart
Discord: https://discord.gg/ZUNYm5DUKe
Facebook: facebook.com/joshbearheart
