Ian Eagle talks broadcasting Final Four, 'NFL on CBS' & Steelers football
Legendary broadcaster Ian Eagle joined the show as a guest to discuss what's it's like for him to see his son Noah broadcasting for NBC Sports, including Saturday's Notre Dame-Navy football game in Ireland. For decades, Ian Eagle has announced for the "NFL on CBS," "the NBA on TNT" and the YES Network. His son is now the play-by-play voice for NBC Sports' Big Ten Saturday Night booth. The elder Eagle shared what advice he's told his son to ignore. Ian Eagle shared what it will be like as the voice of the Final Four starting in 2024 after Jim Nantz's long run. Last, the guys talk about the outlook for Kenny Pickett, Mike Tomlin and the Pittsburgh Steelers in the 2023 season.
