Immunotherapy Updates in Head & Neck Cancer
Head and neck squamous cell carcinoma (HNSCC) is the most prevalent form of head and neck cancer and is typically associated with tobacco use and the human papillomavirus (HPV). Whilst this form of cancer has historically been associated with poor prognosis, the advent of checkpoint inhibitors such as pembrolizumab has increased overall survival in patients with PD-L1–expressing HNSCC. In this podcast, we will hear from Marcin Dzienis, MD, Gold Coast University Hospital, Southport, Australia, Jean-Pascal Machiels, MD, PhD, Cliniques Universitaires Saint-Luc, Brussels, Belgium, and Denis Soulieres, The Université de Montréal, Montréal, Canada, sharing their expert insights in this exciting field and the latest updates in the KEYNOTE-412 and KEYNOTE-B10 trials.
