Is it worth doing something that you are not good at? | Growth Mindset by Cristina Pujol
Do you avoid those things that you are not good at or that don’t come easy to you?
Do you strive to ‘look smart’?
Do you get frustrated and give up when you fail?
Do you feel that successful people are lucky?
Do you label yourself as this is me or this is the way I am, in areas of your life where you struggle? If so, you may have adopted what author Carol Dweck calls a fixed mindset. A fixed mindset means you believe intelligence, talent, and other qualities are innate and unchangeable. If you’re not good at something, you typically think you will never be good at it, or it will be very hard, so why bother?Well, in this episode we talk about why you should bother, and what’s the opposite of a fixed mindset, called the growth mindset. We also talk about a better definition of success, and some tools to switch from one mindset to the other.Thank you so much for sharing your LOVE for the Podcast by sharing it with Friends, Subscribing, Rating & Leaving a Review.
