Isaiah 40:1-11 "Comfort & Consolation"

-There is a paradigm shift that takes place at this point in the book of Isaiah. We're lifted out of the minor key of condemnation - heavy exhortation to the major key of comfort - consolation. Our focus transitions from the Sovereign's crown to the Savior's cross. From the government of God to the grace of God. From the law of God pointedly proclaimed to the love of God powerfully portrayed. From the -burden of the Lord- to the -blessing d to the joy of God.-
