The Tungabhadra River, a revered watercourse in South India, meanders through Karnataka, Andhra Pradesh, and Telangana. It eventually merges into the Krishna River as its principal tributary. In the epic Ramayana, the Tungabhadra is referred to as Pampa. The people's faith and reverence are deeply linked with this river. According to Hindu mythology, it originated from the sweat of Lord Vishnu's Boar Avatar (Varaha). This river holds immense significance, symbolizing both historical and mythological connections.
