Welcome to CHAPTER 47 of the Kinsmen Die podcast, home of fantasy fiction based on Norse mythology that’s written and read by me, Matt Bishop. In this podcast I read my first novel, Kinsmen Die, one chapter at a time. And, with each episode, when it makes sense, I provide some commentary about the source materials I’ve referenced in the text.In the last Loki chapter, he was with the Skrymir who had asked him to proceed with Loki’s plan — the murder of Odin and Frigg’s son, Baldr — even though the Jotunn would not attack at the same time. After some thought, Loki decided to go ahead with the murder, which he views as an act of revenge, even though it jeopardizes phase two of his plan — because if he can’t escape after the murder, then he can’t free his three children Hel, Fenrir and Jorm. And that is where we rejoin Loki. Please visit the podcast's public site for the episode transcript, which includes the entire chapter. Please review and/or share the show -- it is a huge help!
