“The Pastor’s Wife” - The Murder of Anna “Karissa” Grandine - Toronto, Canada - [Part 1 of 2]
A hospital visit, an affair, and unexplained symptoms.
The summer of 2011 should have been an incredible time for Karissa and Philip Grandine. Married for three years, the couple found out they were expecting their first child.
However shortly after recovering the news that Karissa was pregnant, the Grandine marriage began to unravel.
By the fall, Philip called 911 to report that he had found his 29-year-old wife unresponsive in the bathtub while he was out for a jog. But police were suspicious of Philip’s story from the very beginning…and they had their reasons.
If you or someone you know is suffering intimate partner violence, resources are available.
