Avi Wolfson leverages a career as a licensed realtor, professional salesperson, 3 time axe throwing champion, and best-selling author to help audiences directly as a professional speaker. Wolfson, an expert in resilience, entrepreneurship, and self-discovery, inspires others with his story of overcoming childhood trauma and mental health challenges and finding work-life balance. In addition, Wolfson is a proponent of failure as part of the success process, giving back positivity into the universe by paying it forward. Audiences and critics find Wolfson “creative, humble, honest and smart” and adept at growing organizations by “helping people into better positions where they’re happy and flourish.”The greatest gift Avi can give an audience is to inspire at least one person to re-activate the spark in their life. Confidence and success are contagious, and fostering that kind of change causes a ripple effect. A true champion isn’t someone who wins for themselves but does it to help others achieve what they have. These phrases dominated his life, but they didn’t always. Before Avi was a licensed realtor, professional salesperson, best-selling author, and three-time axe-throwing champion– his successes were more grounded. Avi enjoyed playing and watching football, ultimate frisbee, and ping-pong. In addition, Avi loved playing video games, watching documentaries, and could solve a Rubik’s cube. Like you, Avi valued his time with family and learned to be proud of his characteristics… for better or worse. What might be a different story than yours is Avi grew up with the impression he was a loser, feeling worthless and helpless. The environment Avi rose from wasn’t healthy; Avi struggled academically, and while resilient, he felt inadequate for a long time. As a young adult, Avi was diagnosed with Bipolar Type I (previously known as Manic Depression) and Major Depressive Disorder (MDD). The anxiety was evident and present within his family but seldom talked about, nor did Avi have permission to feel sad or express any feeling besides happiness. In addition, Avi felt pressured to take on heavily religious activities he had no interest in; this all took a heavy toll, leading him to drink, take drugs, and music as vices. Avi joined the US National Guard in high school to absolve his self of this shame. Avi was proud to serve a country that he love and protect the society in which we live so freely, but being in the military didn’t prevent any of those problems, nor did they make them go away. Avi was back at square one, at rock bottom. As a self-starter, independent learner, and resilient survivor, Avi knew he’d have to find it within his self if he had any hope of a resolution. Every rejection he’d faced led to something better; Avi had found a purpose within, to help others discover a champion inside. What started as writing would eventually become thirty titles about his experience in childhood and evolved into life coaching, helping others become confident and experienced, and now a career as a public speaker. Avi searched for those underdogs that struggle with business, life, and mental health and show them the champion they have inside.
