Maxim Griman https://www.linkedin.com/in/maxim-griman-a24b08155 is MMA Instructor, Fight Jet & Helicopter Mechanic, Navy Special Forces with the Israel Defense Force, Maritime Security Project Manager in Africa, Managing Partner with Cyber Nova, a Portfolio Company Owner through Tableaux Decorative Grilles, and now the CEO and Co-Founder of B7 Holdings where they invest in small businesses here in ATX! Thank you, Max, for sitting back with me! Max’s perspective from his unique journey will be a guiding light for anyone that hears it. Please, help Max’s story reach the right ear by giving the podcast a 5-star rating, leave a thoughtful comment (if on Apple Podcasts or YouTube), and if you're tuning in on Spotify ring the bell, subscribe on YouTube, or give us a follow on Apple Podcast. Max and I discuss what is the “right” or “wrong” way for a child to deal with bullying and how we both grew up with a lot of fear in our lives. We chirp about our experiences skydiving. Max tells a story of when he almost drowned in the military and formed an unlikely friendship. Max almost goes to military prison, and we talk about the power of people who tell us we’ll fail. Max reflects on the 20-month training he experienced with the military, and the emphasis on the first three months which he describes as “hell”, and how he took that training Upstream later on when he became a commander. We talk about thoughts and the difference between simply having the thought and acting on the thought. Max tells the chicken story and how it relates to people and their decision-making processes. Max gives some advice on how to choose a business partner. Support the showhttps://www.youtube.com/@David....sSaturdayNightSitBac
