Musical Chairs S3: E4- Rage Against the Machine & Jimmy Buffett [091223]
This week on Musical Chairs, the guys go in decidedly different directions, but still end up discussing two of their favorites. Although Dave is the less political of the dynamic duo, you would never know it this week as he brings, quite possibly, the most politically charged band in history to Musical Chairs. With Rage Against the Machine, every song has a powerful meaning and a very deliberate message. The soon-to-be Rock N' Roll Hall of Famers redefined the nu-metal genre of the 90's with an unmistakably unique sound that is still highly relevant today. Patrick pays his respects to one of his dad's favorites, the late, great, Jimmy Buffett. Similar to Rage, Jimmy Buffett had a unique sound all his own that simply could not be categorized or compartmentalized. We have all wasted away in Margaritaville, but Patrick lets us all know of some other timeless classics from a one-of-a-kind musician who will be sorely missed.Today's hosts: Dave Ungar (@AttitudeAgg) and Patrick O’Dowd (@WrestlngRealist)This week's focus shifts to Rage Against the Machine and Jimmy Buffett.About Chairshot RadioThe rebirth of Chairshot Radio will see a rotating cast of hosts delivering you a new show EVERY day.
