In Episode 4 of the Glory Be Podcast, Briar sits down with David Carr. David Carr is going into his senior year at Iowa State and is one of the best wrestlers in the world. He has a plethora of accomplishments in his career already including a 1st, 3rd, and 2nd place finish at nationals. David is well-known in the wrestling community for being outspoken about his faith but in this episode, we get to see behind the curtain of what his relationship with Jesus looks like in his everyday life.

On top of talking about Jesus and wrestling, Briar and David talk about some other crazy topics. Like the amount of money wrestlers make in college now, a bench-clearing brawl between Iowa State and Iowa a few years ago, and we talk about David's family which has produced quite a few elite athletes.

If you are interested in supporting the podcast, here are a few ways you can help:

1- Follow our Instagram @GloryBePod
2- Click the link in our bio and support via:
-Signing up for the Pour Over News for free
-Consider financially supporting the podcast through Patreon
-Follow and share any other content on other platforms, including dropping by Briar's Twitch Channel

0:00 - Intro
1:45 - David's Testimony
6:17 - David's Wildly Successful Family + 2 Tips for Athletes
21:48 - Being Famous on Campus While Staying Faithful to Christ
24:24 - Balancing Partying with Teammates While Being a Light
28:55 - David's Relationship with Aaron Brooks
34:32 - Aaron's Finals Speech Calling Out Muhammad
37:18 - Cy-Hawk Brawl
46:16 - David Talks NIL Money Changing His Life
52:00 - Wrestling in Iowa is...
