Police Minister’s spokesperson, Lirandzu Themba says the burning of trucks is a coordinated attacks

12 people have been identified so far in connection with the torching of trucks in the past few days. The number of burnt trucks has now risen to 21 after a new incident in Mpumalanga where a passenger also suffered burn wounds. Police minister Bheki Cele says he is ruling out the possibility that the torching of the trucks could be linked to the July 2021 unrest.
