Preparing the Mind to Suffer

In light of the rising hostility toward Christians, Peter calls his Christian readers to -arm- or -prepare- themselves as if for battle. Of course, he's not talking about preparing for physical combat, but preparing for real suffering that is to come for the sake of following Christ.
