We Are Of Good CourageBible Reading: 2 Corinthians 5:1-10; Acts 23:11;1 Thessalonians 5:11Text: 2 Corinthians 5:6Summary: What is courage? Courage is the quality of mindor spirit that enables a person to face difficulty, danger, andpain despite fear. Encourage means to give courage, hope,or confidence; to give support, hope, or help. As Christians,we are of good courage. Why? In times of death andsuffering there is only one thing that keeps us secure fromdespair and that is faith in our Lord Jesus Christ. Throughfaith, we share in His redemption, and we are willing toplease Him and endure everything. Like Paul, we are longingto be clothed with our heavenly inheritance, but we knowthat the Spirit is our guarantee of what awaits. He comfortsand strengthens us every day.
