Revelation Part 92 Chapter 14 Verses 17 to 20

In this week’s study, I finish Chapter 14. Before I begin I go into this study I was again go into a rant on some of the current events that affected our daily life. I talk about the 1958 speech by Robert Welch, Joe Biden on ‘How I learned to love the New World Order’, Pfizer Reports found on the DailyClout website. The Fifth Vision "On Earth"14:6-20<br/> The Six Angels and the Son of ManIt is part of the larger Episode, and is parenthetical. The previous vision on Earth has told us of those who were slain because they refused to worship the Beast or receive his mark. Those who were for death, had been killed; and those who were to be kept alive, have been kept alive (13:10). The worshippers of the Beast received his mark; and those who refused to take the mark of the beast, BUT received the mark of the Lamb (Yahshua Messiah) and of His Father in their foreheads. This seems to point to the 144,000 sealed ones, of whose sealing we read in chapter 7. They had passed unharmed through the judgments of Yahweh, and through the persecutions of the Beast.Remember as we start this Chapter that as Christians, we have that Seal of Yahweh within us (Rev. 9:4). So keep your utmost faith in Yahweh and know His Word. Don’t listen to man’s tradition, but Yahweh’s true Word! “Know His Word personally on the earth”Once again as we continue in this Chapter 14, we must remember that at this time there is total chaos on earth. Satan now realizes that after the resurrection of the 2 witnesses that the 7th trumpet is now blowing and the 3rd Woe is about to begin.In this verse 17 we read of a fifth (grace) angel coming out of the Temple in Heaven. In scene two we move from the grain harvest of the bowl judgments to a grape harvest of judgment, again, symbolizing the slaughter that will occur at Armageddon.  At first we see the angelic reaper as another angel assists the Son of Man in this harvest. These two harvests may be different ways of describing the same judgment about to come upon those who follow the beast, or the first may portray that Yahshua Messiah will safely harvest His own while Yahweh's wrath is being poured out on His enemies.  I do not believe either represents that which will occur when Yahshua Messiah comes at the end of time (though they may certainly foreshadow that great event).  Instead, like the angelic proclamations they reassured the Christians of John's day that Yahweh's hour of judgment was soon to come upon their enemies<br/>The second reaping above (verses 17-20) is clearly associated with the wrath of Yahweh, which is culminated at the visible return of The Messiah at the conclusion of the bowl events. The bowls end in chapter 19 where we see this same event described using the same wine press metaphor (Rev 19:15).This raises a question: What then is the first reaping (verses 14-16)?We have seen that there are two similar “reapings” of the earth. To see why, we must pay attention to the differences:<br/>In verse 14 (first reaping), the one appearing with the sickle is Yahshua Messiah.<br/> In verse 17 (second reaping) the one with the sickle is said to be an angel.<br/>In verse 15 (first reaping), the call for reaping doesn’t specify what is being reaped from the earth.<br/> In verse 18 (second reaping), it is the “grapes of wrath” being reaped from the earth.<br/>In verse 16 (first reaping), it says “the earth was reaped“, with the past tense indicating that the Messiah’s first reaping was accomplished before the second reaping began.<br/> In verse 19 (second reaping), we see that the second reaping is the wrath of Yahweh.<br/><br/>Have any questions?
