Es actriz profesional egresada de la Escuela Nacional Superior de Arte Dramático de Perú, productora general de la obra “Al Otro Lado de la Cerca” de August Wilson y actriz y productora ejecutiva de la obra “Ropa Íntima” de Lynn Nottage. Fue asistente de dirección en la obra “El Amo Harold” de Athol Fugard, en el teatro La Plaza. Es gestora y directora del Encuentro Internacional de Mujeres Afro en escena. Alicia busca generar espacios de creación cultural que empoderen la participación cultural de la mujer afrodescendiente. ///Our guest is Alicia Olivares Robles, an Afro-Peruvian actor, director, and founder of Mujeres Afro en Escena and Ébano Teatro. She is a professional actor who graduated from the National Superior School of Dramatic Art of Peru, general producer of the play "Al Otro Lado de la Cerca" by August Wilson, actor in and executive producer of the play "Ropa Íntima" by Lynn Nottage. She has also worked as an assistant director in the play "El Amo Harold" by Athol Fugard at La Plaza Theater. Alicia is the organizer and director of the International Convening of Afro Women on Stage.Alicia aims to create cultural spaces that empower the cultural participation of Afro-descendant women.
