It’s Baba’s (Father’s) Day! Our last episode of the season is dedicated to the Babas.We give an ancestral salute to Baba Ahmed Obafemi and shower flowers on special guest, Baba Bilal Sunni-Ali. Baba Bilal proudly chronicles the history of his fathers, grandfathers and revolutionary fathers of the Black liberation movement. We discuss our blessed family dynamic, lessons learned from both of our Babas and the power of descending from Garifuna forefathers who were never enslaved, movement builders who resisted oppression and honorable men who held sacred the humanity of Black people.Babas, we salute you today and everyday!
