Welcome to The Anime Critique, the monthly Anime & Manga podcast by the boys at Betwixt Ideas. On this episode the boys talk about and review Your Name. The 2016 film follows the “freaky Friday” swapped lives of Miyamizu Mitusha and Tachibana Taki as they learn about each others life and slowly start to fall in love with each other. Twists and turns throughout, sprinkled with some Japanese culture this isn’t your simple swapped bodies story. The boys find it hard to agree on a score for this one so rely on a game of rock paper scissors to decide. Shaq gives a quick update on the Chainsaw Man, My Hero and Mob Psycho. Jamie has finished the Demon Slayer anime and had a great time doing so.
