Season 5 is to start in January.🔪👹🥃 • Scott Sigler Slices: SLAY, a narrated scifi horror series from Empty Set Entertainment & Realm, posted the season 1 finale on Sept 2nd. There are 35 episodes for about 17 and half hour of horror goodness. Season 2 is slated for April of next year.🖤🦇🌹 • After the Gloaming, a dramatized gothic horror series from Dissonance Media & The Other Stories, posted the season 1 finale also on Sept 2nd. As with all things in life, YMMV. 🦹🎱⚡ • My first recommendation is for The Bright Sessions, a dramatized metahuman series from Lauren Shippen & Atypical Artists. There are a few shows that can claim to have shaped modern audio fiction, and this is one of them. Excellent writing, heartfelt acting, and a just-right soundscape make for a near-perfect combination. Here’s the trailer: [trailer plays] The Bright Sessions is fully complete, spanning 7 seasons with 115 episodes for about 47h of entertainment. 🐕♻️👁️ • My second recommendation is for The Dog Is Dead, a narrated multigenre anthology from podcastgod. I first consumed this show during a road trip a couple of year ago, and it kept my attention from the dreary desert.
