The Emperor's New Clothes, a conversation with Robert Rausch

You know when you meet someone special. Someone with that light shining bright and full of talent. Robert Rausch came to us as part of Fotografia 2021 and joined the residency program to develop several new projects. His photography is an astonishing amalgamation of painted and sculpted objects which create their own worlds. It also doesn't hurt that Rausch is extremely humble and collaborative in his processes. We got to catch up after some time apart and reflect on how things continue to change but also stay the same.
