To see another with the eyes of Yeshua ha Meshiach is to see their pain with eyes of compassion. The Torah portion Deuteronomy:21-25 demonstrates case law of specific examples for how we should live and behave given the example of our Savior. Specifically we are "to love your neighbor as yourself". We are to treat every human being with justice which is derived from the inherent dignity of every human being. Do justice and love mercy. "Thou shalt not hide yourself" or "you may not withold your help" from your neighbor. To harden one's heart to your neighbor will lead to a hardened heart towards God as well. We are one body in Christ. There are absolute boundaries between good and evil. Because the Law requires a degree of righteousness of action and purity of heart that we all fall short of, we all need God's grace, mercy, and love shown to us by our Salvation through Yeshua Ha Meshiach. We discuss the absence of Isaiah 53 as a Haftorah when last week was isaiah 51-52 and this week is Isaiah 54. We read Isaiah 53 as prophetic description of the life Yeshua, Ha Meshiach, Jesus Christ our Lord and Savior.
