The ‘Just Right’ Jobs Report 9/1/23

The economy added 187,000 jobs in August. Not a lot, but not too many either. While the unemployment rate moved higher, but not too high. Markets seem to be betting that this won’t force the Fed into another interest rate hike. Is that the case, or overly ambitious? We’ll debate.
