The next Louisiana Governor can immediately fix the "pogey fishing" problem

The menhaden industry (pogey boats) controversy has erupted as a suspected accidental “spill” has been detected in the Holly Beach area last week. Pogey boats were working close to the beach where suddenly vast amounts of dead fish washed up on the beach. While banned completely in Florida and limited to 1 mile offshore in Mississippi & Alabama, Louisiana's elected officials continue to allow the harmful bycatch of non target species and exacerbation of coastal erosion by operating both legally and illegally in and out of restricted zones. LA Coastal Conservation Director David Cresson joins guest host Don Dubuc to address to issue.
