To Jax or Not to Jax, That is the Question (Tigers Series Recap, 8/15-8/16)
The Minnesota Twins split a two-game series at home against the Detroit Tigers. After the Twins won in magnificent fashion in game one the offense stalled in the middle innings of game two, and a late inning comeback came up just one run short. Dan praises the play of Royce Lewis upon his return to the lineup, and has joined the Wallner/Lewis bandwagon in comparing that duo to Kirby Puckett and Kent Hrbek. David has some choice words for Dick Bremer who once again called a flyout as if it was a home run. David doesn't understand the lack of pinch hitters in game 2, while Dan appreciates Rocco taking the game to offer rest to every day starters. The guys discuss the legacy of Miguel Cabrera and make their picks for the upcoming Pirates series. Thanks for listening, and as always, go Twins! The Gran Group with Edina Realty
