I recently tweeted “Any creators follow me that are AGAINST scripting their videos?” And y'all come out of the woodwork! Who knew writing a few words on a page prior to hitting record was so controversial?And I mean, I guess it makes sense, as creators, we wanna feel as though our authentic, straight-from-the-heart witty banter is why viewers keep coming back.I also saw a bunch of creators saying that reading off a script just makes you sound robotic but I have a little surprise for you, I’ve been reading this intro off a teleprompter the whole time, could you tell?But the question remains…is there a right way and a WRONG way - should you script it or wing it?So I asked two experts here today to settle this debate, once and for all.
