Trash talking is very common in the aviation industry. Provocation, otherwise known as “trash talk” or “shit talking”, is a form of verbal contests consisting of boastful remarks about oneself or insulting remarks about one’s opponent. When used properly, it can be a tool that promotes healthy competition between friends or rivals.
