When Tumi returns with her two kids to her parents after her husband neglects them, she suffers from chronic depression and has to fight hard for her life. In Episode 7, Tumi’s parents are shocked and angry at her for listening to the advice of a random prophetess on the internet who tells her to move to Ado-Ekiti, Ekiti state, Nigeria. Yet, Tumi’s father makes one of the most loving moves any loving father could make. This story was inspired by the real-life experiences of some stay-at-home moms I have met, and I share it to celebrate the brave warriors that they are.
