September 23rd: Typhoid Mary Born (1869)
While today’s story chronicles a great loss of human life, it is different then the ones we usually tell. On September 23rd 1869 a young woman was born who, by some accounts, killed 50 individuals in her lifetime. A woman who never raised a weapon or even knew she was responsible for the trail of bodies left in her wake.
