What Faith Does (M. 4)

James writes to encourage each one to examine the activity of his faith to determine that it is genuine and active. Each one needs to examine himself to determine if his or her faith is genuine and active. Your faith is genuine, but only active and meaningful in your life and others' lives as you live out your faith. Recognize that God's favor to bestow forgiveness of sins and salvation comes only through believing in Jesus Christ.
