Where Are You Going: Patience - 2
In part 2 of our discussion on patience, we dive into not just how to build or cultivate the all-important virtue of patience, but we also explore some of the dire consequences/cost of losing patience.Again, where are you going?Every journey known to mankind has stages. However, it might interest you to know that passing through these various stages is not always an indication of mastery. May I humbly suggest that one major reason we tend not to master various stages in life is because we lack the patience during our reparatory stage.Patience is the capacity to accept or tolerate delay or trouble or suffering without frustration or getting upset. Although patience involves waiting, the reverse is not necessarily true. The fact that you are waiting for your opportune moment does not mean you are patient. In fact, many go through life missing the virtue, patience. However, no matter what stage you are in this journey, the good news is, nobody was born with patience. Let’s dive in as we unpack some key aspects of this truth and seek through the grace of God the knowledge that can help us to walk as wise.
