As a marriage and family therapist, she observes interpersonal dynamics and assists couples and families to create unique relationships that work for them. Michelle uses a sex-positive approach with clients to address sexual concerns and facilitate a deeper understanding and acceptance of an individual's sexuality. She uses narrative, existential, and solution-focused therapeutic processes which are tailored to each individual, couple, or family. Michelle is certified in both levels 1 and 2 of the Gottman Institute’s Method Couples Therapy, is a National Certified Counselor, a member of the Texas Counselor Association and the Texas Association of Marriage and Family Counselors. She is currently pursuing a PhD in counselor education at Sam Houston University.
