Why School Counselor Introduction Lessons Are Important
At the beginning of the school year, do you take the time to introduce yourself and your role as a school counselor to the students in your building? Or, do you assume the students know who you are and what you do? I used to assume everyone knew me and knew what I did as a school counselor. But over time, I realized that wasn't true and I gained some very valuable insight on the significance of introducing yourself and your role as a school counselor.
