WOT 118: Reconsidering Presence on the River and Sharing our Fly Fishing Experiences with Zach Heath
In this episode we Wadeoutthere with Zach Heath from Sacramento, California. Zach started fly fishing after retiring from mountain biking on the recommendation from his wife to find a slightly less extreme hobby than he was accustomed to. Zach dove in head first, spending over 300 days on the river in just his first year.

We discuss what it means to be present on the river, and how Zach attempts to balance his work and time fly fishing. We also reflect on how a growing fly fishing community can share this sport in a positive way.

To follow Zach on his adventures, check out his photography, or reach out and talk fly fishing, visit his Instagram:

@Fruitsnackzach

For more fly fishing stories, lessons learned, and artwork check out my blog and online gallery at:
https://wadeoutthere.com/@Fruitsnackzach

Visit KarmikOutdoors.com and use promo code WOT25 for 25% off and free shipping on any order.
