Episode 43: Susan Brockert and Natalie Queiroz
Whoa, get ready for a wild episode 43, Crime Family. This week we flipped our traditional roles and Beth took the heavy story; Bailey brought up the mood with a really maddening and then amazing upper story. But first things first. Susan Brockert spent 15 years working her tail off at a job she loved. She succeeded in every respect, and her company decided to show their appreciation and reward her with the trip of a lifetime to celebrate her achievements. Of course, she naturally wanted to take her boyfriend of two years. That decision led to the end of everything for Susan in the most horrific and brutal attack by the man who supposedly loved her.See why we needed Bailey after that??So, next is the story of Natalie Queiroz, who was 8 months pregnant and just trying to meet her loving baby daddy for lunch. As she walked to the cafe, she was targeted in a stabbing attack on a public street, surrounded by dozens of people. But Natalie was lucky enough to survive and go on to bring goodness and light into the world, despite the horrific reality that led to her nearly dying in the street. This week will make you angry and confused, and certainly wondering how people manage to justify their sociopathic actions in their own minds. Please remember to take care of yourself and don't forget to keep your eyes open for the warning signs of domestic violence. If you're not sure where to go for help, in the US, you can call the National Domestic Violence Hotline at +1 800-799-7233 or text START to 88788, or in an emergency, call 911.In the UK, you can go to the government website for domestic violence assistance, at this link: https://www.gov.uk/guidance/do....mestic-abuse-how-to- or in an emergency, call 999.After you finish this episode, you ought to go check out and subscribe to our friends Paige and Sam at M3: Murder, Mystery, and Mayhem. They're squirrely in an endearing way, but once you get past the opening squirrels, you have great research and insightful storytelling to look forward to! They can be found anywhere you're listening to us!Thank you for joining us today, this episode could be heavy enough to justify a whiskey drink! And as always, hang around, the bloopers might have you craving bonbons or Twinkies (yuck, but to each their own!)!________________________You can find us on Instagram, Twitter, or Facebook @TrueCrimeBnBYou can send us an email at TrueCrimeBnBPod@gmail.comIf you enjoy our show, please rate and review on Apple Podcasts or GoodPods, or give us a 5-star rating on whatever platform you prefer!https://linktr.ee/TrueCrimeBnB....?utm_source=linktree
