God's Word Is A Seed
God's Word is like a seed to be planted into our heart, which will reveal the truth of God's will for our lives and produce faith to take hold of His will.Luke 8:11 WEB11 Now the parable is this: The seed is the word of God.
Romans 10:17 WEB17 So faith comes by hearing, and hearing by the word of God.Faith comes to us by the Word.
His Word is HealingProverbs 4:20-23
20 My son, be attentive to my words;    incline your ear to my sayings.21 Let them not escape from your sight;    keep them within your heart.22 For they are life to those who find them,    and healing to all their flesh.23 Keep your heart with all vigilance,    for from it flow the springs of life.
Psalm 107:20 English Standard Version20 He sent out his word and healed them, and delivered them from their destruction.
The Lord our HealerExodus 15:26 English Standard Version26 saying, “If you will diligently listen to the voice of the Lord your God, and do that which is right in his eyes, and give ear to his commandments and keep all his statutes, I will put none of the diseases on you that I put on the Egyptians, for I am the Lord, your healer.”
It’s important to note that God himself said he doesn’t change. (See Malachi 3:6) He always is our Healer.
The Young’s Literal Translation reads this way,  “for I, Jehovah, am healing thee.”
This is present tense. He is healing thee. Healing is always his will if we will believe him and draw near to him and trust him.
Some struggle with God saying he put diseases on the Egyptians. How can God be the healer and the afflictor at the same time?
Dr. Young says it should be the permissive sense instead of causative.
ExampleExodus 1221 Then Moses called all the elders of Israel and said to them, “Go and select lambs for yourselves according to your clans, and kill the Passover lamb. 22 Take a bunch of hyssop and dip it in the blood that is in the basin, and touch the lintel and the two doorposts with the blood that is in the basin. None of you shall go out of the door of his house until the morning. 23 For the Lord will pass through to strike the Egyptians, and when he sees the blood on the lintel and on the two doorposts, the Lord will pass over the door and will not allow the destroyer to enter your houses to strike you.Always look at Scripture in light of other Scriptures and how God is.  This will help us rightly divide the Word of Truth.Blessings in Christ
