Guest Series - lets chat with Megan Buntine ( Not For Profits )
In this second series of the podcast, Sam sits down with local business owners.Today we are speaking with a small business owner to find out about their business journey....so it's 5 questions!Sounds easy, right….so get ready for some great insights, reflections, and some laughter—potentially some real serious bits too. Please note our discussion today, meaning the content we create in this episode is for informational purposes only and not a substitute for professional advice. Each person and their business journeys are different. So, let me introduce my guestToday being the 7th of February, it's appropriate that I catch up with a local Megan Buntine.Megan has a particular passion for working with not-for-profits, both online and in person, with organisations across Australia and New Zealand.Megan uses her knowledge, skills, experience, and vast connections to support the governing bodies and senior staff of all sorts of organisations to build greater governance, leadership, and strategic capabilities, so they, in turn, can then deliver better support and services to their stakeholders.Megan conducts a range of services, including group sessions, 1:1 coaching for CEOs, retreats, and webinars. This includes training programs, good governance workshops, and support packages.Check out her range of up-and-coming events: - https://mjbconsulting.net.au/e....vents/-------------- x ---------------------------------------------------On a side note, Megan and her husband Marty survived the 2009 bushfires, and they both continue to inspire those around them with their ability to be so damn resilient—they never gave up.Megan's ability to just get on with it is amazing. There is a photo of them both walking away from the camera after the biggest fight of their lives on that fateful day and night on February 7 2009 it resonates strongly with me on how far our communities came after that time.----------------------------------------------------If you love the episode, subscribe, share, like, or let me know about a future topic, or if you are in the North East, reach out for a catch up and podcast chat!Head over to the website, samhicks.com.au and sign up for the 5-minute business boost newsletter.Or see how we can work together to reach your small business goals by visiting https://samhicks.com.au/old-home/lets-go/Follow me on social media (@samhickscomau), and remember, anything is possible in business.
